Abstract

Today, digitalization and the risks associated with it are in the focus of attention of researchers and the corporate sector, as they represent a new economic and technological frontier. It is extremely important for the corporate sector to formulate approaches to identifying the risks of digitalization and sources of financing to reduce them. Another important question is whether modern society will be able to survive the upheavals of the digital age and remain free – the authors predict what the process of total digitalization (primarily in the corporate sector) will lead to in modern society. This study is devoted to this range of tasks. The main objective of the article is to identify generalized risks of digitalization and formulate the main steps of the enterprise that are effective in the transition to a digital business model. At the same time, another important result is the assessment of the social and social effect of digitalization and the formulation of ways to reduce emerging risks. Within the framework of the study, the main results are proof that the risks and benefits of digitalization represent different degrees of the same results; identification and systematization of the main risks of digitalization for the corporate sector and the development of universal basic steps to begin the transformation of the business model of an enterprise in the context of digitalization.
