Abstract

The use of the achievements of modern technology and science is a key factor in the success of achieving high labor productivity and increasing the competitiveness of the entire national economy. The difficult situation in which Russia finds itself as a result of the unleashing of sanctions against it by unfriendly countries exacerbates many problems of the domestic economy, which require serious and thoughtful solutions. On the agenda of the current economic strategy of Russia are the issues of building a more balanced, independent and innovative model of socio-economic development, which is impossible without the massive replacement of manual labor with machine labor, that is, carrying out a purposeful and thoughtful program of automation and robotization of business processes of domestic enterprises. The purpose of the article is to form a holistic view of the main achievements, problems and tasks of the Russian economy in the field of industrial robotics. To achieve this goal, such scientific research methods as analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, as well as tools for statistical analysis and data visualization were used. The article presents an analysis of the state of labor productivity dynamics in Russia. The factors constraining the implementation of the results of scientific and technological progress as the main direction of solving the problem of low economic performance in the country are investigated. The specifics of the robotization process in Russia are considered separately as one of the most important elements of the digitalization of the national economy in order to increase its competitiveness and strengthen the position of the state in the global trade system.
