Abstract

The article examines the current state of personnel training in higher and secondary educational institutions and the demand for their graduates. Conformity of professional competencies to modern realities of the technical and technological structure is the main feature of competitiveness and demand for trained specialists. The object of the study is personnel training. The subject of the study is the factors and relationships arising in the process of training specialists in demand on the la-bor market. The main goal pursued in this scientific study is to propose and justify the main practical measures aimed at reducing the negative consequences and im-balance in the regional labor market by professional and qualification criteria. To achieve the desired result, the article analyzes and assesses the current state of the labor market and the personnel training system at the regional level. It is concluded that the existing personnel training system in the region needs to be transformed, taking into account the proposed practical measures aimed at bringing together the professional and qualification positions of the main participants in this process (the state, educational institutions, employers), regarding the professional and qualifica-tion characteristics of future specialists. It is substantiated that without the expanded participation of employers in the educational process, as the main “consumers” of the workforce, it is not possible to prepare personnel who possess the necessary “skills” and who will be in demand by them.
