Abstract

The purpose of the scientific article is to analyze the characteristics of the mechanism for setting prices for legal services. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the legal services offered to clients are influenced by the competition of competing organizations, which reduces the potential for growth in sales and business revenue. Since one of the tools of competition is price, a competent approach to the pricing mechanism for legal services is accordingly important, which will allow simultaneous solution of two tasks: to ensure a competitive price position with other competing organizations in the legal services market; ensure the desired profitability of the business, which depends on a sufficient amount of revenue received from the sale of legal services. The object of the article is legal services. The subject of the study is the pricing mechanism for legal services. The identified goal, object and subject of research require solving the following scientific problems: consider the theoretical and methodological foundations of the concept of “pricing”; analyze the current state of the legal services market in the Russian economy; identify the main factors influencing trends and prospects for pricing of legal services in Russia; propose a pricing mechanism for legal services. The results of scientific research make it possible to identify an effective mechanism for pricing legal services, the use of which ensures competitive prices and the desired profitability of the business.
