Abstract

Nowadays, most of the modern advanced and computerised industrial processes consume large amounts of energy, require highly skilled manpower and high complexity and manufacturability of the systems, which increases the risk of error and consequently can cause devastating accidents, hence, an effectively designed reliable industrial safety system plays a critical role in providing protection against accidents and guaranteeing the safety of human lives, which determines the relevance of this paper The object of the study is industry as a type of economic activity. Subject of the study - economics and management of the state of safety elements of industry. The purpose of the study is to consider the economic and management aspects of the adaptive system of industrial safety in the modern world. The article reveals that safety management system is an adaptive set of structured processes covering the whole organisation without exception, which promotes effective risk-based decision making related to daily business functions and helps organisations to present their products or services at the highest level of safety, supporting the safe practical implementation of industrial and technological innovations.
