Abstract

This article examines the topical issue of innovative activity of economic entities in the territory of the Russian Federation from the perspective of implementing the goals of the federal import substitution program.
Thus, the object of the study is the import substitution program, as a factor reducing the import and structural dependence of the Russian national economic complex on the supply of finished and final products from foreign manufacturers.
The subject of the study is the economic entities showing innovative activity on the territory of the Russian Federation, whose products are able to balance the dependence on the volume of products imported to the territory of Russia.
The methods of correlation and regression analysis used by authors allow to objectively and fully achieve the results of the study. We used foreign experience for solving the issues of the dependence of the economic system on the volume and structure of imports to build a factor model, consisting of factors for which statistical data are available, and to make conclusions on the degree of correlation and flexibility of indicators on the resulting indicator.
The results of this study convincingly reflect the absence of a link between innovation activity and the effectiveness of the implementation of the import substitution program. Thus, the confidence coefficients in all cases are less than 0.8, while the Fisher criterion is also not significant according to the results of a single factor analysis of variance.
